ABOUT INTRASURANCE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

Intrasurance offers a digital platform for customer, policy and claims administration in the private market. The platform has fully automated all routine processes and these are processed “real time”. Intrasurance Technology Services (ITS) is the enterprising, customer-driven IT-organisation of the Intrasurance Group, that develops innovative solutions in the field of online insurance.

Driven by a clear mission (empowering people to become self-assured!), a continuous dialogue with and focus on the customer, Intrasurance keeps track of the latest market developments and continues to offer the best online insurance solutions in the market. ITS is currently looking for a Business intelligence specialist.

THE ROLE OF BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

You enjoy working with data. You understand the business requirements from our clients and potential clients and translates raw data into insights and business opportunities. On the other side you feel comfortable in digging, filtering and cleaning the databases to get to the right data you need. You understand and are able to communicate with two sides: business and technology. In our agile way of working and culture you don’t like to wait but you are pro-actively coming up with new ideas and solutions and contribute to implementing them.

In some projects you will work together with a very driven team of data scientists from our strategic partner Building Blocks. Not only will you be working on innovations that are going to define the way of working in the insurance industry but also you will develop yourself further as a professional in the field of data. One product entails predictive analysis on portfolio developments in the area of combined ratio and revenue streams on portfolio or segmented level. Another product is a churn model computing the expected lifetime on an individual level resulting in a customer lifetime value.

Some of the things that you will be doing:

  • Create and improve reports and dashboards regarding insurance portfolio, combined ratio’s, churn and market insights.
  • Collect data and extract data from warehouses using querying techniques.
  • Take care of mapping and transferring external import portfolio data in policy migration projects.
  • Information analysis for stable and reliable information regarding business processes.
  • Takes care of data related production issues.
  • Depending on your skills and ambitions, other focus areas can be added.

Knowledge and experience

  • Completed relevant higher professional education / university.
  • Minimum 3 three years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Knowledge of financial aspects of business processes and transferring business transactions into the general ledger.
  • Experience with data visualization tools. We work with Qlik Sense.
  • Knowledge of Python and R is a pré.
  • Fluency in English.
  • German speaking is a pré.
